Science View

Science View, founded in 2008, Science View is a non-profit organization promoting science communication, education, and social inclusion in Greece and Europe. Its team, including science communicators and journalists, works to make scientific knowledge accessible to the public. Science View also engages a network of nearly 350 experts (mainly in-service teachers and researchers). Collaborating on major EU projects, Science View expands Greek initiatives across Europe. It focuses on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), public engagement, open access, gender equality, and ethics. Specializing in teacher professional development, it integrates new technologies and transdisciplinary approaches into education. The organization also designs e-learning courses and self-assessment tools for RRI, Innovation and Openness in education as well as STEAM education. With expertise in science education and EU-funded projects, Science View serves as a key partner, leading work packages, tasks, and national coordination while managing large-scale project administration.

Role: SV with its long expertise in awareness raising activities will lead the Dissemination, Clustering and Networking (WP7) while the team will mainly contribute to WP2 (based on the extended experience in openschooling and design thinking methodologies), to WP4 (by mobilizing the LSTT and GSO communities) and to WP6 (the self-reflection assessment tools that has developed for measuring the STEAM status of school units). Also, SV’s leading role in Road STEAMer project, the participation in the ACT AI Academy, will strongly support the development of the STEAM NEXT STEP Roadmap.
